Camper Tracking

Since 1987, Walden has implemented a Camper Tracking process to ensure that every camper is adjusting to and participating in camp activities to their fullest potential. This process has provided valuable insight into the success of every Walden camper’s experience. The most formal part of the Camper Tracking process is the weekly meeting held between our Trackers, the unit head, and a counsellor from every cabin. The purpose of these meetings is to evaluate campers’ behaviour and relationships, as well as monitor campers’ adjustment and comfort levels with their camp experience. The Camper Trackers will work closely with the camp’s Health Centre to ensure that a full picture of your camper’s experience is being recorded and responded to when necessary.
